Thompson Joins Performance Nutrition as Territory Manager for the East Coast
Hazlet, NJ…LidoChem, Inc.’s Performance Nutrition Division recently announced the addition of Glen Thompson as Territory Manager covering the Turf & Ornamental (T&O) and Agricultural markets for the east coast. He will initially concentrate his efforts on the southeastern portion of the country.
Thompson is a seasoned professional with over 20-years of experience in Turf and Agricultural inputs sales, technical expertise and relationship building. “We are pleased to have Glen join our team,” said LidoChem, Inc. President and CEO Don Pucillo. “This is his second tour of duty with us following his position at Sunniland Corp. as Product Development Manager.”
Thompson is a native of Louisville, KY; however, he spent his formative years in the Orlando, FL region where he attended Lake City Community College and earned his degree in Golf Course Operations. Before he started in sales in 1999, he worked for a number of courses at country clubs throughout Florida. Following his hands-on experience of growing excellent turf, he moved into the sales sector representing companies such as John Deere, UHS, Golf Ventures and Sunniland Corp.
“Glen is a customer service-oriented individual with technical knowledge about plant and soil health that will prove to be an asset to Performance Nutrition as well as its customer base,” Pucillo said. “His home-base is in Central Florida; however, he virtually lives in his truck and you can expect to see him everywhere.”
